Whether you’re new to church, or just new to our church, you’re probably curious to see a peek into what our Sunday gatherings look like. As we all know, stepping foot into the unknown takes courage! So, let’s walk through what a typical Sunday morning will look like for you at Harvest Point Church.

We’ll meet you at the door!

Come Sunday morning, you can head on in and some friendly new faces will meet you at the door and we’ll greet you with a smile - even a high five if you’d like! In our cafe you can enjoy a free cup of coffee, and a snack. Many people love to gather in our front room to fellowship before service so there will be many eager to help you find your way!

What’s available for my children?

Our children’s ministry is easy to locate and a screened volunteer will be at the door ready to help you check in your child. Ages newborn through 2 years old are in our Nursery - the Little Saplings class. Our 2+ years through 2nd grade are in our Little Harvesters class where they will learn about God on their level in an engaging way! And for our 3rd through 5th graders, every other week during the service Cindy Bowen leads a special Sunday School class just for you! To learn more about our Children’s Ministry, click here.

We gather to worship.

Once you’ve found your seat, our service begins with a 10:02am "Harvest Prayer" inspired by Luke 10:2. Next, one of our church leaders leads us in reading an encouraging scripture passage. Then, as one in purpose and in Spirit, we worship together through a beautiful mixture of modern worship and hymns. Songs are chosen through prayer and lyrics are vetted by the Word of God to ensure sound theology.

We gather to study God’s word.

Our Lead Pastor, Joshua Culver, preaches and teaches applicable studies of the living, breathing Word of God. You will never hear a sermon that strays from scripture, or uses one piece of it but disregards another. We believe in the entierity of scripture and that every piece of it points to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died on the cross and bore the full weight of Sin so that we may have Salvation by His blood. We get to live in the fulfillment of the Law and do so with an equal urgency and longevity in mind. To learn more about what we believe, click here to read our Church Covenant.

We gather to behold Jesus Christ.

We gather on Sundays to behold Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Three in one, our Triune God! We do this through our sincere worship, our teaching of the Word, and our partaking in Communion. Every Sunday, communion is available for Sons and Daughters of The Most High if you feel lead to do so as apart of your personal worship response time. Our pastoral staff is also available at all times during or after the worship service for prayer.

We bless each other in the name of Jesus.

And before you leave on Sunday morning, we will end our service with a blessing and a benediction scripture, to gird you up for your week ahead! This response time is another way we practice unity through declaring God’s Word out loud with one mouth! We believe there is power in His Word and none of it returns void (Isaiah 55:11). But don’t leave without making sure you get to have a conversation with a church member or person on our staff! We desire to know you, pray for you, and see you come again!

What is missing in our Ch_rch?

It’s you! As silly as it sounds, it’s so very true. We deeply desire to do church as it’s done in heaven. Multi-ethnic, multi-generational, many members coming together in unity operating as one one body, by the strength of Holy Spirit. We so hope to see your face in our house this Sunday!
